The s6-dirname program

s6-dirname prints the dirname of a path.

Interface

     s6-dirname [ -n ] path

s6-dirname acts as the generic dirname utility.

Extra options

• -n : do not print a trailing newline after the output.

Posixness

s6-dirname is suitable as a Single Unix dirname program.
